Two of the three top Espadas have finally succumb to the power of captain class Shinigamis with the aid of Hirako Shinji's band of Vizards in Bleach 284 episode. Haribel, the third ranked Espada is continuously suffering from the blows of Captain Hitsugaya and Vizards' Lisa Yadumaru and Hiyori Sarugaki after the three though unwillingly but worked together to bring down the last of the Espadas. Earlier episodes featured the battle between Captain Soi Fong and Hachigen against the King of Hueco Mundo, Barragan and Captain Shunsui against the number one Espada, Starkk. With the reverse of state, Aizen's army are slowly diminishing. Now, with only one Espada left, Aizen still seemed to be in his usual composure, confident enough not to lose the battle even his underlings are already been defeated.
Aizen, stood with power and intelligence, looked on as the Gotei Thirteen's Shinigamis and Vizards are all aiming to fight and defeat him though the anime's lead Ichigo is still out of the picture. With the defeat of Starkk, he finally decided to make a move. His first one, was his evil strike with his own ally, Haribel. Aizen concludes that she is useless enough to continue the battle since the two more powerful Espadas are already been defeated. He instantly strikes her with sword leaving the confused Espada bathed with her own blood. The episode concluded with Aizen provoking everyone to fight him.
Aizen's character in Bleach is totally a perfect antagonist. He was not only evil in his ways but his manipulative skills and his intelligence make him as a whole deadly threat not only to Sereitei but to the material world as well. His trickery is the highest evil and he has no conscience when it comes to involving anyone to just succeed on his scheme. Not only his intelligence and wit that would make him truly a fearful creature but because of his incredible power that even shook Captain Yamamoto, one of the oldest and most powerful Shinigami Captain in Gotei 13. He already surpassed the highest form of power and mastered all the skills of a shinigami and even materialized another form of power, the Hallowfication through the use of Urahara Kisuke's invention, the Huogyoku.
As we watch Bleach episode 284, we are getting closer to the realizations we longed to discover. What is so special with the Huogyoku that drove Aizen's madness to power?
